Configure your server

First, create a profile named "player" on your PC. This is the default name of the profile used by the server, this will allow you to configure the settings on your PC before applying them to the server.
Now get the files Multiplayer.json and player.json from your server before modifying it to preserve (among others) the IP values and the ports that have been assigned to you.
If you have already modified these files you will have to start by reinstalling the server.
Put these files on your PC to replace yours if they already exist (in the UserData\player folder).
Now let's go to the configuration, you will need to create a mod on your PC: Download and copy tracks / vehicles files into the package folder of your game if you do not already have one. Once the tracks / vehicles in the folder packages go to the folder support / tools and run MAS2.exe then click on the icon in the form of opened cardboard box (the sixth one) then on "create new mod package". In the first page you will put the name of the mod (put roxservers for example it will be easier since the mod launched by the default server is named as well) then click on "next".
On the second page you select the channels to add to the mod. To select several hold down the CTRL key while clicking on the various circuits then click on "next". Do the same for the vehicles then click on "next". Do the same for the "other components" and click "done".
A window will appear, click on "Package" at the bottom and once finished click on "Install".
The mod is now installed on your PC. From the rfactor2 launcher start the server by clicking on host (last icon) and configure the server, start it and then stop it.
Connect to the server by FTP. Upload the Installed, Manifests, Packages and UserData folders from your rfactor2 directory to the server. Many files will already exist, when it will be asked to you select the option "replace only if the size is different" then apply this to all the elements. So you will upload only the files that differ what will be more or less long depending on the items you have added but will be faster than any uploader unnecessarily.
