An unreachable server is not necessarily stopped. Game versions, ports, extensions or a world still loading can explain connection issues.

Quick checks

  1. Check the control panel service status and network status.
  2. Copy the actual address and port from the service details. A game port does not necessarily open as a website.
  3. Check the client version and edition. Minecraft Java and Bedrock use different server software and protocols; crossplay requires compatible configuration.
  4. Wait for startup, then open Logs. Find the first relevant error rather than only the final shutdown lines.

Performance problems

Distinguish network latency from world generation, memory usage, entity load and extensions. Game Server Activity, when available, provides useful charts. Low TPS alone does not prove a RAM shortage or a hardware problem.

Contacting support

Include time and time zone, service reference, affected players, recent changes and an anonymised log excerpt. Never share passwords or keys. Do not reinstall or delete the world as a diagnostic shortcut; back up and ask before destructive changes.
