RAM (Random Access Memory) is a physical component, it is limited by definition. References to unlimited RAM are simply false advertising.
When you see RAM limits of 32, 64 or 128 GB+ you should be aware that it is in fact the total RAM installed on a machine and not the memory allocated to your game server.
This RAM is divided by the number of servers hosted on each machine.
- Unlimited disk space does not exist either as hard drives are physical components with a finite limit.

Requirements depend on the version, simultaneous players, simulation distance and mods. Avoid a fixed players-per-GB rule: start with the modpack or server software requirements, then monitor actual usage.
