A trackmania server uses an account (like as a player you use an account).
You must therefore create an account for your server:
- For trackmania nations you can use a player account for your server but you will only be able to use it for the server and therefore you will not be able to use it to play, so it must be an account reserved for the server).
- For Trackmania United you must create an account on http://official.trackmania.com/tmf-playerpage/ (Connect with your player account then create a dedicated server account for your server)
Once this account is created, go to your control panel> default config files and edit the dedicated_cfg.txt file which is the main configuration file for your server.
In the "Master Server account" part you will put the identifiers of your server account (login and password) as well as the last 3 characters of the account key (validation key).
Take the opportunity to make the other settings and define a superadmin password in particular.
Save and restart the server, if everything has been done correctly you will be able to connect.
